Historical Re-enactors |

Historical reenactment is the art of portraying life in another time and/or place, or acting out historic events or battles, such as the Battle of Stamford Bridge (one of the last Viking Invasions of England in the year 1066 AD). In order to do this, the reenactor has to take great care that their equipment and garb is accurate to the limit of available archeological knowledge. While the research can be time consuming and tedious, bringing a culture back from the dead and seeing the awe it can inspire is a wonderful experience. As archeology is an ever evolving science, so is the art of reenactment, as new information is discovered or older information is reinterpretted, our art will grow and change as the years go by. |

| With performances at the 2005 Ashville Viking Festival, Nordic Adventures Weekend at the 2005 Ohio Renaissance Festival, the 2005 Dublin Irish festival, and the 2006 Muster on the Maumee event, The Einherjar is quickly making a name for itself. Its safe, yet unscripted fights draw hugecrowds and have even been known to stop traffic. Constantly growing, the Einherjar has energetic and fun training sessions. The rapid growth is forcing us to hold training sessions more frequently. |
